What sort of power does it make with the 10psi S/C Cal?....

Also what water injection setup are you running, is it something you have put together yourself?... did it make any difference (Intake temps pre and post install)?.... Its something I’ve been thinking of looking at for a while (a boost cooler setup looks pretty good for the money)

Any under hood pics?

So when do you want to sell it to me Cal?

Or more important when are you going to upgrade to the mobile hair salon and install the hairdryer on it. Make some real power. :)

It made about 100rwkw on what I'm told is a conservative dyno. Would have liked more, but the blower is maxed.

I bought a kit from the US, but did a fair bit of customising of it. It's basic, not an aquamist or anything fancy. Not as much as I'd hoped for. Took the air down about 15 degrees from memory. Unfortunately an intercooler is a bit out of the question for this setup.

Maybe at home, I'll have a look.

Looking at an AVO at the moment. :)

I'd just get one fabed up. Only really need the exhaust manifold, dump, piping and intercooler. You've got everything else already basically.

Or best of all, replace the Eaton door-stop with an Autorotor.

Depends how hard you want to blow.
Ask Hans to spec and quote based on what result you're after.

Awesome car Cal, very nicely done with tasty mods. Had me looking for MX5's on carsales.

That second pic is brilliant too. Trying to figure out what effect you used (looks like a mild fisheye type effect) or is that just the way the car is parked with large distance to background horizon)?

I'm pretty sure it's just a 17mm lens.

No comment, MX5's have had far to much exposure here lately :)

I just found some photos on Rhys's website of the car when I raced it in 2005 before building the blue car. Thought it put them here.

By the time I was done, it was more like a G turn. :p

shinybluesteel, I must take photos of my engine bays, I always forget. Meh too hard basket. I might turbo it instead though.

Just make sure you don't go to big with the turbo

PS Can I have your car?

Nah I'd keep it small. I don't want lag.

Oh and no. :)

Thanks DATZED.
