DS2500 is great for Dual Duty - I use them on my wifes MX5 and get around 40000klms per set. Never used the other two. Hawk HP Plus are another strong option that if available you should consider - so is their new ceramic pad compound. Metal kings are OK too if you want a cheap option - I assume this is on the MR2? Heavier cars will kill metals kings pretty quickly. What do other MR2 guys use?

thanks, yep for the mr2, the others are using SBS, but at $375 for the front, I think thats a bit overkill!! I think I will get the Ferrodos, just dont know where to buy!

DS2500s will be similar priced I'd think. Try http://www.bsmsport.com.au/ or maybe www.vsport.com.au

DS2500 is great for Dual Duty

QFT

RB74's would be the next step DOWN, but could be good on a lighter car, they won't hold up as well on a track though.

You'd be better off with steel wool scourers in your calipers than Greenstuff.

Can recommend Tony @ Vpsort.

Quick question, these DS2500's, can they be ordered from somewhere like supercheap? as supercheap do stock Ferodo pads.

Dunno - never tried to order them from anywhere apart from BSM. I suppose it can't hurt to ask, maybe a ferodo brake agent might be a chance as well.

Supercheap have been very good in the past for ordering in parts. I got most of my eurothane bushes from them and they have signs up for DBA rotors, whiteline suspension upgrades and other parts. Try and get the part number before you go there so it is easier for them to find and it should be good.

No
they are not something available from your local autoparts store
They are a specialist product and not mainstream

This is correct and Race Brakes Sydney can get them.

MR-PUNANNY - Remember that looking for the cheapest pads won't solve your problem look for what will be best suitable for your driving conditions .

Good reports on Hawk HP Plus, no personal experience though.
