it hasnt run yet. just 1st tune still.

Agreed, for the money which has obviously been thrown at it you'd think they could invest in a decent plenum. That's just a big tube attached to the factory runners. :huh:

From all reports it works though, so perhaps its not so bad.

Been following this car for ages, I remember being at the turbo place when Mick ordered those two puppies.... that was like 2 years ago!

I suppose it just might be a little quicker now with the 2jz than when it had the old turbo'd 202 in it that ran 9's.

What was the PB with the previous engine & where is it now?

The old 202 bent rods from what I understand so its no longer in service. Should go pretty well once sorted.

the plenum looks like an autotechic cannon muffler sprayed in anti-rust.

but in saying that i totally agree with the "function over fashion" and im sure that they wouldnt skimp on such a small item (in terms of overall project) if this one shown wasnt effective.

Awesome car. I believe it runs 2 X GT35R's on it. Plenum looks dodge, but that doesn't mean a better looking one would work any better.

Looks like a GE. I always say there is no point using s GTE when you plan on fully rebuilding with forged internals. You may as well save cash and buy a GE and get the supposedly better flowing head.

All the 200+ mph 2jz IM's look like barrels tho they are usually on shorter runners.
