Whats with the AFM (?) digital readout?

:rotflol: It is a sticker that says "AFM" (but in Japanese) :knock:

the digital readout tells you how many jiggawatts you're putting out (estimated)

car sounds like it might pull a skid

very tough Denver. Looking forward to seeing it out and about soon

_should_ pull a decent skid

im gagging to get it going again myself, only did the dutton in it then pulled it apart again, typical me..

and the digital readout clearly says 20 million jigawatts

<its actually just the id/part # sticker for the afm

It did ok at dutton, given the 13 yr old viscous lsd, was anything but lsd, we had a rev limit of rev and a mere 300hp at ten pounds due to there not being enuf fuel/injectors, and the thing was basically finished for competition the day before dutton with no prior track time in it..

i came second in class, co driver came first, and we where both mid/upper field over all

and fishy

Any reason you picked the sedan shape over the coupe? Rarity/ Point of difference? Very tidy and tough skyline :)

it was a smacked rolling shell a mate had, and it was the right price basically, i was gunna get a 32 4 door, but the 33 came up..

i was going for a 4 door regardless, as it is different to pretty much everything else out there, and AFAIK there isn't any serious 33 4 doors out there <well this serious anyway>

and lastly, im a fan of ken nomuma, but 34 4 doors are s bit to much still heh

only problem is that I'm 5'11" and I got heaps of legroom on the coupe

I'm on the full limit of the seat rails in the sedan...

De Lucas old shitter has some along way Denver,

It did bloody well at Dutton all things considered, it was definitely the loudest car out there by far.

Look forward to the revision stepping it up a few notches.

How do you find the Tein Coilovers...?
Looking to upgrade the suspenision in mine soon (R32GTR)
The Teins look like pretty good value, not to fussed about on road behaviour, but how do you find they perform on track?

given they where second hand, they go pretty well, bang for buck they are pretty unbeatable, when the $ allow, ill be going for an ohlin or zeal option, or something of simular spec, but for now, they hold up pretty well around the track

Interesting to see such exxy engine work and only running a GT3040. Any reason you aren't running something bigger? Impressive though :D

In short, response

everyone goes for the bigger is better theroy on 26's, which is total arse, i built this thing to be as quick around the track as possible

for duttont o just get it goin, with a no timing tune, and no touching of the cam gears it was making boost at 2800, tinkering with everything should see it lower, and my goal of full boost by 3k in 4th and 5th achieved...

same for my cam profile, bigger would have moved there useability to high into the rev range for it to be good on the track..

atleast with this setup, ill have excellent power low in the rev's, right through to say 7-7500 rpm, so it won't have to really rev it, and still make over 500hp at the rears...

my biggest problem when it comes to serious racing will be getting that power to the ground i think, it'll be farking awesome for drifting tho, woot!
