This was a old truck i built, ended up breaking it down and selling most of the parts to a guy in melb who was putting it into his F100. I havn;t heard any updates as to how it's going. (also hence my user name).

Was the dash a relatively straightforward fit?

Might have to ditch my 3 buckets idea ;)

I ended up cutting out the F100 firewall and purchasing a new firewall from ford, then welding the EL firewall into the F100 Cab, this way i had all the right 'indents/shapes' for the heater box/climate control etc to bolt up.
Being a full chassis it was no real problem 'structual' wise.

I wouldn;t recomend doing it again, i cannot recall it being much 'fun'....

That thing looks awesome!! Did you ever drive it together, or pulled it down prior to finishing it??

I ended up with that manifold!! i was told it was to fit a f100 so i grabbed it, not knowing till i saw this thread that it needed a modified firewall. i had to modify the pipes to go round the front of the motor.

started off with a gt42 daf truck turbo with a 1.44 t6 housing that bolted straight on, i got 5-6psi boost around 3500 depending on the load, which made it a hoot to drive!
But about 7 weeks ago the fmx died. So currently it is off the road while im building a c10, and also converting the manifold to a t4 flange for a gt42 1.15 housing. That shoiuld make it alot more fun to drive, especially going from a 1500rpm stall to 2500-3000rpm stall( havent decided yet).

lol-you had to use a crate to get in.

I'd normally prefer something like that in a lowrider sort of theme, but whoa, that looks very cool. Must have been weird sitting in that cab.

this is what i had in mind in the future. I wonder if 33" mt's at the back and 26" at the front is legal?

Hey qwikcorty, any chances of you doing a rides thread as well? :D

I'd love to see some more pics and specs on it, I'm building mine as well, found some lads to help out with my chassis this weekend so it's go time :)
