Hey im Jak (Jarron), from of sydney, Australia

Im 15 and my dad owns a 1jz cressida. My brother drives the car, and i do ALOT of research and work on it.

it is The Fastest Stock Turbo Powered 1JZ Vehicle In The World

THE ENGINE COST $350 OFF EBAY

The car runs 11.078 @ 122.00 Mph 1.570 60' On 24psi boost (yes, stock ceramic wheeled ct12a's) And it is nitrous assited. And We are out at WSID just about evry fortnight.

We have been building the car up over the past 2 or so years and have huge plans for it in the future with a 2jz + gt55 planned.

Over the build up so far i have gone from not knowing wtf a 1jz or a 4a-ge was to being able to tell a chassis code form just looking at the car.

Car makes 301.5kw on 24 psi boost.

Im not sure wtf peope are talking about when they say the stock turbos on a 1/2j are shit. They are awsome, it is just the standard dumps that give them a bad name.

But we are well aware that our rear exhaust wheel should be departing via the exhaust any time soon, so we have built up a collection of good condition ct12a's and now have 4 of them.

Mods so far:
1JZ, 3.5" Exhaust, IC, IC Piping, M/T Drag Radials, Microtech LT12S, Microtech Hand Controller, BOSCH Coilpacks, BOSCH Leads, 20Gal RCi Alloy Fuel Cell, 2x BOSCH 044's, 2x 3/8 Fuel Lines, 2JZ 440cc Injectors, MV Autos Manualized Box, MV Autos Shift Kit, MV Autos 2800 Stall, Pod Filter, Fidanza Adjustable Cam Gears, GReddy Oil Catch Can, Lowered, R33 Break Upgrade, Slotted And Cross-Drilled Rotors, Ferodo Pads, High Pressure Break Lines, 17x8" Rims, Emergency Power Cut, Nolathane Bushes, 150 Shot Of Wet NOS.

In The Works:
Seats
Direct Port NOS
Different IC Piping
Two Step
Roll Cage
Front Runners

AND 10 SECONDS!

Great work mate. You guys are always there. I've seen the car many times (I'm there with the Hi-Comp Civic that is there almost as much as you guys). It always performs strong. I've wondered what it is powered by.

Well done :yup:

LOL @ winding 24psi out of the stocker turbo, you guys are funny. Sounds like you're getting massive fun out of the car for minimum bucks!

Thats amazing well done kinda sick of seeing the same sort of setups at the drags running 14s and thinking wtf how could they be so slow.

nah i wasnt on tv with rove why?

we run our turbos at 19-22 psi on the street (cant go lower than 19) and they cope fine. at 25psi you have to have nos to be getting that boost, but you have the cooling effect of the nitrous too.

engine bay pics. this is the old motor which blew up, but looks the same still...

and you are 15?
Well written first post mate and great to see you are learning the tech aspects of the car aswell..

Shame about the new P plater laws - but I am guessing you can still drive this on your L's?

Not to be a sceptic, but how do you know the turbo's are ceramic wheeled still??

Remember that drag racing doesn't put nearly as much strain on ceramic wheeled turbos as circuit racing. You're just not into it for very long at one time.

i know they are ceramic because i put them on.

boost_lover, i dont drive the car, but ill tell my bro to get on here.

yea i can drive it on my l's, but you need to have a fair bit of experience before you just jump behind the wheel.

Jak, you are a very lucky bloke to have such a good close family,
that share a common interest.
Big thumbs up to you all on a great car.
