Some think 70K is a lot of coin for a Subaru. I agree with them but I didn't want a supertaxi, nor did I want a hefty car loan that would have accompanied anything from 'ze germans'
So when Subaru brought out the revised Liberty Sti, this time with the good bits which they forgot in 06 I was keen.
Its got some nice factory bits like
Gold Brembos.
Bilsteins with Sti Springs.
6 speed Sti Box.
18" Enkeis.
Braided Brake Lines.
Front Strut Bar.
Pirelli P Zero Rossi Tyres.
Sti Quad Exhaust.
Sti Remapped ECU.
Sti Logos on seats with Red Stitching.
Ive got the JDM Grille on order but will probably leave the rest alone for now as pimary motivation for this car was something that I will not spend money on or tinker with.

they look hot, i reckon it will make a nice pokey daily :) congrats
Absolutely beautiful (for a non Supercar) machine. There is often one parked down the road from work. Very nice
I wonder how much behind they'll handle to an STi of same vintage. Slightly lower powered, and softly sprung I'd assume.
Looks very tasty though.
clearly not enough sti logos
who was it tuned by again?

That's hot shit.
Once I have some fun in my Gen2 and get it all sorted, I'll be putting all the go fast bits in a black Gen4. H6T Gen4 mmm I felt it move just a little.

TJ you are a cunt :) but I sold the Tein Coilovers I had (even though they would fit) just to avoid temptation. That car looks awesome but mine will remain a tractor because I want to retain comfort.
My friend has gone Cusco coilovers, and has said the ride is almost as good as standard :)
His ZeroSport grille arrives today :)

It sounds fantastic for a factory fitted system. Nice to see car manufacturers lifting their game in this respect.

If only Sti went for a different colour then pink for it's highlights...
They are a very nice car, I get to drive one occasionally with out the price concerns. :)
why? i thought pink was quite befitting :)

Nope, no wagon variants. That is incorrect. There are wagon variants. Not as many were brought in as the sedans. At least 60:40 in favour of the sedan. Most sedans (and wagons) were black (unfortunately for people like me who hate black, and plan to get a used example when they are more affordable) and the rest silver.
I actually found the stereo to be somewhat overrated. It produced distortion/clipping on the heavier bass sounds during a song and the volume wasn't even turned up halfway.

Ok, so it looks pretty but what does it go like? Any plans to take it down the strip?
