hey to start with i picked this bad boy up for a pritty good price stock as 1" exhaust ect but was b6t so i have some spares lol.any way i have big plans for him :) looking into racing at like QR and stuff..

so far i have
b6t jspec doner motor. from KA.. currently has no pistons due to ringland collapsing
i have stock g series box looking out for a LSD :)
custom manifold. from china,. had to flip it so it go low mount.
wiseco forgies. .40 oversize
carrillo H beam rods :nw:
wiseco metal head gasket.
acl race bearing kit
ARP head stud kit
ARP 2 bolt main kit
GT2876r
48mm turbosmart progate.
3" exhaust from turbo back
microtech digi (yes its old :() with hand unit
EVO injectors 560cc.
sard fuel reg
044 bosch pump with 1.5L surge
turbo smart BOV
400x300x100 cooler (sleeper)
roll cage for wank factor :)
recaro bucket seats from KB lighting..
15" oz racing wheels with pedders suspention springs ect

motor will be in the shop next month or so. need to rip the bottom end out of ka :)

nice set of cams.. still looking at my options.. rally spec 1's are lookin good..
looking at maybe gettin my head cleaned up
new radiator
nice big brakes..
mt streets..
maybe custom plenum and bigger TB..
also looking into getting new ecu.. see what happens..

heres some pics. some are of parts still in my KA that will be in the bf,. also cage is black now for sleeper.. im keen to know advice tips ect to what u think i should do cheers dave

i have a mate with a BP18T in a astina, thing hammers!

p.s. what are you doing with your stock rods? ;)

Cool. Not sure that MT Streets will be too good at QR!

Why spend so much on rods and so little on what keeps them in the block?

what are u saying i should have got? 4 bolt main or some thing?

also b6t rods are sold.

and im going to get a par 3rd gear.

A few guys are now using the Toyota FWD box with adaptor plate after breaking PAR 3rd gears .

also what box's are they useing? i know ross is useing a mr2 box...

A few guys are now using the Toyota FWD box with adaptor plate after breaking PAR 3rd gears .

They probably put in shit oil. :)

Its not really the PAR Gear ,, but more to do with the casing and size of bearings holding up with the extra torque is put through it ,, Do a search of fordlaser.com

isnt the digi like the base of all microtechs? thats what i was told... but the newer 1's have a few extra add ons..? thanks for the advice any way cheers

Nice work mate. My fwd mazda v8 killer has the same shit ass G series box as well.

Any info on the Toyota box with adapter plate setup, Cameron_datto. Ive had a search and cant find without registering. My thoughts were always that mating a toyota box would be the best and strongest option, but that it was to hard too accomplish.

3rd gear it self is physically tiny and piss weak, that is in addition to the case flex problems.
