Hey Guys,

Just a query, apparently the VT-VZ brakes are shithouse when pushed hard?

Even though they work unreal on the street in my books.

Anyway, I am in the process of striping my current car and was going to sell off the Nissan R32 4 spot brake kit that I have on it.

But as I plan on getting VX-VZ soon, was wondering if I am going to be regretting selling the Nissan brakes or not?

Would they be considered an upgrade or not big/good enough over the standard sliding 2 pots?

I'm fairly positive the brakes and the cnc adapters should bolt straight up to the standard vt discs, but the caliper is mounted on a sturdy cnc bracket, flex?

Any thoughts?

Flex is the biggest problem, nothing that will be an issue on general street duties, but can cause problems on the track. If the "new" car is going to be tracked, then keep them, if not, sell them.

What are the brakes on now? I "may" be interested for my track car..

I've seen the 4 pots on a few Commys
A mate has them on his
He swears by them as a huge improvement

i put the ap 4 spot kit on my vu after i turbod it, fuck it pulls up good on the street, 355mm fronts and 343 rears. everyone who gets in the car comments on how well it stops. cant comment on track use, never been there. the stock brakes arent up to the weight of these cars if you add some speed.
