Hey Guys,

Getting some brake lines made for the E30 this week and undecided whether to go braided all the way, or keep as much hard line in the system as possible.

I've had it suggested that braided the entire way could make for a spongy pedal and hardlines should be used as much as possible.

I have no experience in this area so chasing some informed thoughts on this.

Braking system:- Dual Circuit Master - Booster - Nissan 4-spots (F) - BMW single spot (R)

braided lines will require more maintainace, to make sure they're all in good condition etc, esp since they can chafe against the body and wear through the braiding without you knowing. any reason for wanting to go full braided lines?

Main reason is that I find it neater and easier to work with.

The car won't be used for daily duties so in reality probably won't see a vast amount of time on the street aside from weekends etc.

Keep hard lines as much as possible - far more reliable than soft lines of any description and heaps cheaper!

Seems to be the consensus...
