You're ahead of me easily mate. I broke mine one year ago and am still struggling for interest.
Good plugs is good. Pulled the rocker covers to see if it's broken a spring or dropped a valve?

Just sleeve it and throw some rods in it. Race it while you're getting an lq9. You've spent way too much time and money on everything to suit a 308

Someone once asked me if they could use my mower. I said "sure, so long as it doesn't leave my yard"

FS Holden 270 cube V7. Turbocharged. Has spare cylinder in block for lols. Small amount of effort to convert to better known 308 V8 engine.

    POA contact Daveisacunt@morayfield.busstop.com

But seriously, you sure about this? You sound like you are convinced the motor is going to continue to fuck you around, you sure you haven't already done the hard yards, and just need to fiddle a bit more to get to the desired result?

Also, I thought I heard you blaspheme against the Carby Gods and mention the word Injection.

Good luck with it, whichever way you decide to go.
    Cheers, Richard

change up to EFI and don't look back mate. The misfire coming onto boost on the dyno would have been 100 times more pronounced on the track.

get the LQ9 running for cheaps, and start winding in the power till you are confident with the car/setup/ etc.
