I actually read that quickly the first time and was amazed at the 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds, then realised it wasn't MPH.

    185 km/h in a Prairie? Fuck that!
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

AHahaha yessss turbo prairie. Thank you!
One of these was our first family shitbox after a life of well sorted euros ("recession we had to have"). I remember driving back from Brisbane in it and it was the first time experiencing "speed wobbles", and that was at 100km/h. It's probably the reason I still waste my time with old square foresters.

You'll need to thank Mr Gibson for making that possible.

    Obviously
, it was this sort of development which paved the way for what was ultimately achieved with his Group A R32's.
In fact you might say there's a little bit of Prairie in every R32 win.

Needed to be faster on the 'phone (or have installed a GoPro) the other day ... someone had created a semi-Batmobile out of something approximately the size of a mid 90's Corvette.
Looked bigger than a RWD Celica, was painted matte black, and although it didn't quite look 100% like any of the movie Batmobiles it was closest to one of the bad ones (ie. the post Jack Nicholson yet pre Nolan movies).

You kinda don't expect it in traffic ...
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

Imagine how much faster it could go nowadays with direct injection, e85, twin scroll turbos and a MoTeC

Named by/after company founder Trevor Wilkinson.
If you dig a hole and it is in the wrong place, digging it deeper isn't going to help.
