Looks like the one that a bloke from one of the ECU mobs was building probably 15-20 years ago, surely it couldn't be the same car?

A long short, but does anyone up North know anything about this car?
Could you foresee any issues with registering this in Victoria with a turbo?

There are 2 very cheap turbo MX5's for sale worth mentioning.
    This is the NC

    And this is the NB8B

I do bang on how good these are, and this is your chance to get into a car that will be a bunch of fun at a local track day.
I would buy them if I didn't have 7 cars already. With 3 being race cars.

Original Circa 1950s GTV Pye Van Outside Media Broadcast Van

The Van is an original GTV Pye Van. It was one of three vans brought out to Australia to cover the Olympics in 1956. Two vans went to the ABC and the other to the Melbourne Commercial station GTV9. At the end of its life, in the early 70's it was sold to a production company "Captain Video". After this, it ended up in a paddock behind a TV Museum in Mornington Victoria, run by Bob Phillips

The Museumís Conservation section acquired the van for spare parts for an ABC Van in the collection.
The Vendor is of the belief the original paint with GTV logo is still intact beneath the "Captain Video" paint job.
The van is unlikely to be in running order as it was used to provide spare parts for the Museumís van
Great for a project / enthusiast to bring it back to life.
The Van is 7400cm long approx

Would make a sweet tow rig with a 6bt. Well, better than an RX8 anyway.
Could probably fit that 1959 Goggomobil Coupe in the back.
Lots of minis & mokes including a G13b powered Sports Sedan, a couple of Swift Gtis, a Goggomobil, 928S, Polo Gti, BMW 540i, a WRX and a Navara with the deadly ZD30

How much of a concern are the bulk KM's on these M's as all they all seem "well worn in" (aside from what I've read about rear subframes, more thinking engine health). Not the best colour, but I don't totally hate it either.

Apart from random trim and consumables, mine has no issues at 260,000km (head came off to have a look and it was still quite clean in there; albeit myself and previous owner maintain it quite well).
Biggest thing I had to do recently was replace alternator.
That said, 19k e46 m3.. Not so sure

Are these VANOS ones (I know less than nothing about them) as have read in other sales ads "already had VANOS rebuilt" and sounds like something expensive.

My vanos is still in spec at the above km I replaced it when I had the head off 'just because' pretty much. E46 units are more durable again apparently. Dirty oil fucks them so cars where the oil changes have been stretched out will be affected more from memory
