    QLD: DRB GT40 Replica

    http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...0900&silo=1011

This was my wedding car, the owner is selling it.

It's an absolute ripper of an example - runs a Cobra 4.6 quad cam crate motor.

It's well built, quick and most surprisingly it is super-compliant around town. I was driven out to Sirromet winery in it (not the best roads) and the ride was significantly better than my Alfa.

    More importantly it sounds fantastic!

    Fucking awesome!!!

I never normally care about fuel economy much but THIS impresses me:
    # 84 Lt of fuel is carried in two side-mount alloy tanks. Consumption of

    8.5lt/100km 100kph average speed gives 800+kms range.

It's better in theory than in practice in my opinion, I always end up stopping when doing Bris to Syd just for a break.

    8.5lt/100km 100kph average speed gives 800+kms range.
Problem is, who would be able to slow down to a 100kph in a gt40?
I'm sure that the fuel economy isn't so great at 150-200kmph

Have suggested to my bro, who can actually afford such items and has a large empty garage to fill with cool shit, that he should buy this. He wanted some cool Aussie muscle but this is way fucking cooler.

Are the speakers inside useless given the power plant at the back?

Very awesome car. I'd change the wheels and steering wheel.
