    Got a kg from jaycar abs. Prints ok definitely better than the china spec stuff above!

    Has anybody tried the flashforge Guider II? Looks pretty good.

    anyone else getting bombarded by - hey buy this laser engraver spam... and slowly being worn down?

    anyone have one? how many powahs would i need if i actually wanted to be able to cut cardboard? is the learning curve hard compared to 3d printing?

    3 to 5 watts would do it, you may have to do more than one pass but that's relatively easy to set up. Those cheap kits won't run fast either, they really go wonky if you try to speed them up.
