    What heads do they start with? Are they those eddy pro port things or just one of their other basic edelbrock heads?

    Yeah just Eddy RPM roundy port heads that butlers get as a bare head, throw a carbide & sand barrel down each of the holes, setup the valves at RAIV height with springs that bind after 0.700" lift etc... The intake port entries are not that much bigger than RAIV heads and I hate D-port exhausts as making pipes for them is an absolute prick. The cam going in it will be around 245-248 @ 0.050 with around 0.630" lift so it'll use what it has to offer.

    Yeah I saw the McCarty RAV's but I think they scrapped it as no-one took it up. Don @ DCI (who designed the Tiger originally before AllPontiac bought it off him) over there also did his own RAV head too which would probably be the better one. Another option which a mate of mine did was try the canted valve CV1's. Old mate put them on an massive S400 turbo'd IA2 motor which is going into a 57 Star Chief sedan, that'll be a fun car to setup and tune, he bought all the Megasquirt gear for it but he's got that many cars that he is playing with in parallel, the 57 will be ALONG way off!

    Big wheels look ok if they fit right. But they're usually wrong and the car sits too high and they just look retard. I dunno I just like old shit so I guess I like to pick the shit out of stuff like that. They're only wheels though, no reason you can't have two sets

    I can now run a 10" wide wheel with a 3.5" backspace and a 305 or 315 tire, 325 might be pushing the friendship. The diff trailing arms are now on the inside of the chassis rail so I could run a 0" backspace if they make them.... The wheel above is a 20x10 with a 305 tire on it and it has about 1/2" clearance inner and outer. Any wider and then chassis rails change, re-engineering the car, don't want the cluster fuck at the moment.

    I had 255/60/R15's on it before and could probably goto 275's with a bit of scrubbing around. The thing that fucked me the most with the trailling arms on the standard location was you can't shorten the diff that much to run a small offset to get the big dish look.

    Nah not yet, i'm waiting to see the diff setup myself. He's making me up adjustable moly tube trailing arms and from memory he said he's just going to make new brackets on the diff so the arms go straight forward instead of kick out toward the wheel. Didn't go ladder bar, apparently not legal on the street

    otherwise I'm thinking watts link and put very stiff leaf bushes in. Currently my diff slacks left/right on the bushes.

    So the tub extension is finished, looks like I gained around 2" of space when looking at the old pics of the boot for comparison... The front floors have been replaced as they were absolutely fucked. When I first bought the car 18 odd years ago, back from the shifter is an absolute abortion of a repair which is getting sorted out, then once the diff arms are done I should have it back to finish it off. One big problem he ran into with the tubbing of the rear end was the stock fuel tank which i'd setup wont fit no mo, so a custom tank is getting made from stainless steel and will setup the same VE commode pump setup again.
