Nice. Where did you get the perspex? Are they going to still run in the original channels so they go up and down?

I'm not 100 percent yet if the prspex will fit but that's the plan, that will be one of the last jobs after the run in. They look like they will though. I bought them off a sooprah forum guy who bought them from the states. Heater box is out as we've deleted the water hoses and pipes that run around the block.

Exhaust is on, I've got q guy working through loom, and I am trying to get the padding on the cage. I'm not really happy with how it looks and it's going to be a pita around the drivers front pillar as it's 15mm by specification and there's only about 10mm clearance.

Hopefully once its on I can think of a way to make it look better.

Yeah it has to be 15mm high density foam (like a yoga mat) or pool noodles but they are about 40mm wide and look shitter.

That's to get it regoed. I might cover it in something once I've got it functional. Fucking stupid rules.

Slow as on this end brother, 2 sets of Titan cams both were incorrectly machined, took too long to get first set replaced so they are at the machine shop getting the journals to the correct spec, pain in teh ass!

Will be bolting head back on in 3 weeks or so if your keen to come round for a beer?

Intake manifold back, black ripple effect powdercoating. Have modded the oil filter fitting, will leave it there for now but add oil cooler later and remote filter.

The haltech loom has the wrong oil pressure plug so need to chase that down before putting the manifold back on. Have given myself the hurry up to get the mod plate before ncop 1st of Nov and I wanted everything finished bar the tune. See how we go.

We have a start but it's leaking out the l/h cam seal so back out with the cam.

I've found some white padding, not happy with it but it's better than the rubber I used first except it looks like a fucking marshmallow. Any suggestions?

Dash in, will need trimming. Everything back together. On start up it seemed to be leaking out the lh cam seal but it turned out the ballbearing in the journal of the cam itself was missing. Much head scratching later, all sorted.

    Now you tell me!

I've spoken to Matty Spry at Pits, so I'm hopeful that we will get her to a point where I can truck it down to Pits and drive it out within the next 2 weeks.

    Just in time for xmas!

    Left to do before tuner.

    1. Vaccuum line to internal haltech map sensor
    2. Wideband fit and wire
    3. Fuel pressure sensor fit and wire
    4. Final mount ecu
    5. Windscreen and wipers
    6. Accessories belt w a/c delete
    7. Drill and tap factory mounting position for shoulder location of 3 point, redundant but legally required factory seatbelts to go over the top of my 6 point harnesses.
    8. Mount digi dash
    9. Clean and polish
    10. Wire boost controller solenoid to haltech auxiliary plug.
    11. Re-fit Fr and rear strut braces

Hoping for a big fat, white, black line creating anti-social xmas present here.

I've ordered the recommended run in oil from plr.

He said torco TBO 30 break in oil to bed the rings and it has mpz whatever that is. After 30mins with this drop out and swap oil filter and he suggested then to use torco TR-1 mineral oil 10/w40 for the first 1000kms. Just need a spare oil filter tomorrow then all set.
