Yep, available as auto for 2.5k more

Over here the auto's are limited to 350nm where as the manual gets 400nm.

Test drove an auto and wasn't a huge fan to be honest so took the 2500 discount.... tad better on fuel and we both prefer manual anyway.

according to the manafacturers website, we get 178ps@4000 and 350nm@1800-3500
and your right that jumps up to 400nm on the manual

seeing as im stuck in traffic pretty much all day anyway still prefer the auto, however perhaps theres a besanko chip or something out there that can up the power?

ever heard of these blokes? http://www.chipit.com.au/cars/challe...rchmodels=2400

"50% more power guaranteed" and "works with any diesel engine" rings a few alarm bells

50% more power seems a bit rich when companies like Steinbauer claim 30% and Roo Systems claim 35% with their chip & exhaust package.

Chip It is still a reputable company but I'd never heard this 50% claim before. There's DP Chip, Steinbauer, Roo Systems, Taipan XP, they're your top players anyway if you want to check them out.

So 5 years and 74,000km down the road with a major service due & battery on last legs we decided to upgrade to something a little larger with a recent purchase of a camper trailer.

No real issues over the 5 years other than 2nd gear syncro was replaced under warranty (common issue with triton / challenger manuals of that year). Would absolutely recommend and will be missed.

Looked very seriously into a Y62 patrol (white 2013 model with 64 on the clock) but ended up deciding to jump back into another Mitsubishi after negotiating a great trade on a deeply discounted MY17 Pajero (June 17 build) - 3.2L diesel auto.

Just clicked over 100km and feels like home already.

Cue 2022 thread revival when this one gets replaced

Dunno what i did there but fixed now. 2017 NX (literally built in june).

Very keen prices on these things if you're prepared to bargain hard right now... Closer to 40K than 50 driveaway type of pricing.
