    So, phone call from sparky.

RacePak PDM talks to Motec talks to RacePak dash talks to gear indicator talks to switches and lights and we are all happy.

Everything i'd setup worked other than the Wipers They would not park bu work.

Motec with supposedly everything optioned bought from automotive shop supposedly set for Evo turns out to be half artsed and with an SR20 tune.

    $*$*@#&N_#*&%_# C)(*#@+$)(U #%*})_@I $+()@#*'s.

Need to spend another $1000 to get advanced Cam assistance and shift cut enabled.

Other than that, it will be home soon.

    See how we go.

If not, debut at RoSA on Sep 9.

Engine start is good. Has a nice idle.

Bumped fuel pressure up to 65psi to fuel engine as injectors not up to the task. Injectors running at 50% duty cycle just to idle, so far too lean and something far too wrong.
Factory 300cc being replaced by some plug and play 600cc injectors.
2003 Celica driveshafts bolt directly into the setup.

ECU/PDM Wiring completed. New plugs installed on the Racepak PDM courtesy of Dan at Designwire.

Hanging panels have been painted. Just about to wheel the shell off to the paint shop for a quick lick, and then back to fit ancillaries.

    Fingers are crossed.

Reverse selection lever. Original lever I could not grip properly with gloves on.

So, took it out of the shed and drove it around the block.

Also took it to a christmas pageant in Mannum, down on the Murray.

    Performed quite well.

    And its quick.

Like an auto with this sequential box.

Goes into gear, and just keeps accelerating. Sounds good too.

Need some better brake pads to make it stop though.

By day I test software applications and computer hardware.

Is a hobby, I wish I could convert into a job.

Would not pay the bills I don't think. Not enough of the right people wanting whole cars built.

Awesome quality build - many applauds. So much patience required to do things right.

    Merry xmas!

I hate this bit, where you finally finish the rally car, and it looks like you did nothing other that change the wheels, put on a roof scoop and some bonnet catches.

It took you how long to build?
