I am looking forward to seeing the results mate. Should be a good thing, always liked the idea of a 6ltr VN - VS as we've discussed previously. I think it's a smart build...

Body is now prepped and ready for paint, including door jams.
Diff housing has been dummied up in the car now just needs welding.
Diff centre will be ready for collection tomorrow
Bottom end of the engine will be assembled by Supashake on Wednesday, then we can get the correct head gaskets
Paint should be applied next weekend
Front Brake rotors are on the way (rear brakes already on the NASCAR diff)

    Then:
    Watts link to be fitted
Brake dog bones to be made by Supashake
Engine and drive line fitted up for tail shaft to be made
Dry Sump tank needs mounting and plumbing
    Rewired and tuned up

    What else Supashake??

Jim. This car cost very much less than you think.
The car we plan to beat has Suspension that cost 10k more than my whole build. Thinking about it a $200 protest would have beaten it anyway.

Thats ones a VR/S going by the Strut tops. Its a pity we have to add weight in IP for engine swaps as the car is so light.
