Jim , koya wheels Australia are doing some excellent value forged and light 18's in your choice of pcd and offset wheels . I know of a few guys who have used them already on the track and are very happy .

I've got their 17x9's already and might grab some 18x9's for next season .

I covered the dash, turned out pretty good. Paint the interior tomorrow and maybe fit the engine this weekend

This was a bit hard as some of it was done before we got it and not well. Looks like it may push close to the budget of $20000 now.
If it was done in a hurry or you had to pay someone it would cost a lot more. 90% was ebay the rest local.

Watts link, MoTeC, the brakes... good to see it's all been spent in the right places, too.

T+D/ Compcams Shaft rockers took a bit of work on the mill before they fitted up right, If anyone uses them there not bolt on but worth the trouble.

    Nice!
What's the issue with the dry sump?
I can't find anyone selling the corvette stuff. I'm hoping my home made "Windale Forehead" sump with gates will get mine by.

Drying is perfect. Was a lot of work to make fit the L98 but all good. Motec is the issue at the moment.

The huge Oil pump does not fit inside L98 Timing cover etc, Mill, Lathe and Tig sort it out tho.

Does the corvette use a longer nose crank or something?

Just had this on the scales, We got the 50/50 balance we were after. Its nice to build a car when your not chasing weight saving, We have the biggest battery ive ever seen in a racecar for example. I feel its going to be quite a good thing and it sounds tough.

It's hundreds of kg under so we were able to add weight where we needed.
