    Decided to take it to Willowbank for shits and giggles.
    <start excuses>
    With the auto a little bruised from the happy laps and roll racing, 2nd gear was not liking the torque after 4500rpm. 2nd slipped to the limiter, but managed around that by short shifting to 3rd.
    <end excuses>

    Ended the night with a 12.8 @ 113mph. Fairly stoked!

    Awesome time man! Still the stock torque converter, not stalled higher?

    Has a MV auto converter in it. Unsure of what stall it is though. I left the line with 4.5psi and 3100rpm think that was on the limit of brakes and handbrake. Boost was still building.

    Here is a log of the run, showing the 2nd gear giving up. Think there is certainly some more in that 60' too with the RE003s

    It was interesting to see that stalling it up resulted in essentially the same 60' but the 330' improved significantly.
    I presume there is much more in the launch alone.
    Also, I said your supra ran 103mph...i think it was 106 on recollection.

    all you drag cunts ruin your shit with only 2 gears?? Surely in 2018 there is a better option that allows you to run 11/12s that involves at least 4 forward gears?

    Whilst I agree that an overdrive ratio is a must, one cannot say a stout auto ruins a car. QLD traffic laws and public perception pretty much outlaw having fun on the street so a big auto makes a lot of sense now. We are pretty much limited to test and tunes and roll racing, both which suit autos. No real point going tractor t56 as big street cars make terrible lap sprint cars, and the day of nebo runs is over, partly due to me.

    maybe the power band is wider than gearing can cater for.

    to be honest i was half having a crack at Tim just because. However, my point/question is surely there is options to run a high 11 without the need to have only 2 forward gears for the 99.99% of the time you're not on a drag strip without going manual.
