    Will a V160 fit behind a 1GZ anyway? Hmmm

Also, that dude that did the review on the rx8 got into my head, can't help but notice how many triangles they have now.

Goes without saying, would need rotardedness removed and replaced with Ls.

Rx8/Ls1 would be an awful lot like bastard spawn of mine and nopics 3. Awesome but confused retarded drunk redneck awesome... Which unfortunately resembles myself now sans the drunk.

2Jayzeegeetee Is200 less confused retarded redneck and more geeky specced guy in a suit with a twitching eye that'll kick you in the balls though. Which is also awesome.

So raised the car up today to pass rego. Also had to get a new tyre. But the cunts at the tyre shop didn't call me back when they were done so I have to rego the car tomorrow.

Shifty got stuck into the front cut and took off the intake and then got a face full of R134A gas! LOL

Just got a 100,000km kit from fleabay for $400,

I'll still deciding on what turbo.. Two options, get the car up and running with the yum cha GTX35R or hold off the conversion for a while but purchase a proper Garrett GTX35R..

I heart is saying the Garrett. I can drive the IS300 as it is for quite a while, that way I can just build the GTE slowly.. and maybe low ball Rz on that other Getrag lol.

I measured up the inlet and outlet, 2.5" is a bit of a stretch, more like 2.2" as it looks like they measured the outside edge of the casting.

Still, for $200 delivered, it's not fucking bad!

Is that a treadstone mani? Either way, have it ported and cleaned up internally. I found the one on mine didn't help spool much and a bit of a clean up would probably help.

Get those turbos off & you can start pretending you are bolting it all together by sitting the manifold and gate in place.

    Needs new manifold studs.

Don't buy from Toyota lol. Just generic manifold studs and flange nuts. Scott can probably organise.

Progress on the front cut today, Leigh and I got stuck in and starting ripping shit apart.

I started on the turbos while Leigh undid the fuel, aircon, steering pump, tailshaft hub thingo.

Had a break and we popped down to Bills place for a hello and to steal his engine crane. Cheers Bill! I might or might not owe RZ a reacharound.

Looking good. Front cut was at a pretty good price. I was glad to get the money I got for my 2j.

Hey can you do me a favour while you've got the engine sitting there on the floor?

I need to know the dimensions; length, width, height, etc...all the critical stuff for an engine transplant.

If you can run a tape measure around it & put the dimensions in a couple of pics it would help me a lot...

Maybe i've been looking in the wrong places, but I haven't found the engine dimensions anywhere here..

    Ta in advance!

Put a new balancer and modified oil pump on it.
Check the belt tensioner and if your keen, change the seal in the powersteering pump.

Do that and you will fix all the 2JZ problems.
