I just read the whole sketchy thread, man what a champ to keep pushing on regardless. I simply hope this doesn't end up that way. It is a far simpler beast, I just have to stop catalogue shopping and expecting to get parts that just fit.

No 2.5L Millington Diamond, no care.

Did you consider selling the YB and building a Duratec?

I already had the yb, I have so much money in it, couldn't justify selling it.

Waiting on the custom front hubs to be made till it can be on its wheels finally

Will be a great Street car, yep.. Maybe.

On a related note, I've recently started watching a youtube build series lately where some UK mob are building up a 'restomod' Mk1 Escort for none other than Gordon Murray, pretty interesting to see how they go about it (they are going with the Mazda/Duratec 2.3 engine, although so far it's mostly been body work).

^I started watching that last night, before no pics came in yarping about something and I had to change it over.

The retropower thing is great, their car is going to be quite a thing, but not quite the same style as mine, theirs is going to be quite sedate in performance and looks from what I can see, but still a build of epic quality.

My custom front hubs are coming along, should have them later this week. I needed them primarily as I have changed the Escort over to Datsun stud pattern, so needed one offs...

    Perfect.
4x114.3 and the world is your wheel oyster.

Unless you want to put 17s/18s on it which would just be wrong.
    This is serious mum!
