Yea awesome, I presume all 18" centres are the same and its just the lip and barrel sizing that changes on the Simmons? Will have to tee it up at some point, what area are you in?

Got some stuff.. tim510 hooked me up with his spare ethanol sensor, and I picked up my oil catch can to replace my little one (which fucking just breathes straight into the engine bay without the ability to use a filter)

I ripped the old G force sensors out last night and did 95% of it.. got bored at the point of putting the interior back in, ill chuck some photos up tomorrow cos its semi interesting

Yea sweet, ill chuck these photos up.. some of them are blurry cos im a retard, sorry

Remove the console, and you'll see this little box of wonder

Which is the G force / Gravity sensor

    Take the protective lid off

    (After chopping the loom off)

Basically it measures motion by 3 little containers of silicone gel with a pendulum in each, then through general magic converts the swings into a 0-5v signal for the computer to interpret..

As I discovered, right at the loom's output the cunt was all corroded and basically wouldve been shorting pins.. explaining why the car would light up randomly under throttle (might have a fucked transfer case or Hicas pump but ill sus that later)

New board on the right.. versus the assembly to the left

Basically drill a hole through the lid, chuck a rubber grommet in, cut and shut some wiring to the original loom plugs.. and done

Velcro'ed it up a little bit.. the random wiring is for the antilag / 2step switch..

I just chucked the controller in the console bin for now..

im going to buy another console as i dont want the antilag switch there (and the RWD switch is on the dash)..

I might have to add a couple more switches soon so ill sus a uniform solution..

Either way im keen to take the car for a lap with the new accelerometer pcb in there!

Car drives a lot better now, can actually feel the AWD working.. feels heaaps less loose under boost, my missus is less likely to scream at me when I rev it over 3k now

While I took the car for a spin I accidently picked these up..

Weds SA70 18x10+12.. huge amount of brake clearance, and theyre super light.. gonna just use them for track shit

Very likely to end up gloss black

    Those BBS $$$$$$$$$$$$HORN.

Dunno about the bronzey coloured things, look average in my eyes, but each to their own. 16/17's suit a 32 so well and that enclosed brake look with the mesh wheels is worth 11ty jizz points.

The Weds rims are just for the track, as they don't require spacers to go over the brakes.. Agreed, the mesh rim looks infinity% better

Those meshies are Work Japan rims, fuck dat German BBS shit.. yea the centres must be 16-17" just stepped upto 18".. the old Simmons FR trick hahaha

Moving house the day after I come back from overseas.. get a fucking actual garage again! Might even clean the car to celebrate

Also am patiently waiting on a set of Greddy turbo outlet/merge pipes I bought 2nd hand from interstate.. they replace the factory "twinturbo" merge pipe, and generally just look 90s awesome

Lol who actually uses their GTRs (except fatz)? Theyre just a garage ornament haha.. nah Im just trying to get it ready for Racewarzz..

Waiting on a lithium battery so we can do the boot install with the fuel sys.. my mate who does the hard shit (Most shit) for me reckons he'll sort a nice alloy sheet and mount the gear to it for the boot..

Still havent received my Greddy merge pipes although I spoke to the useless courier dickheads who reckon tomorrow.. which is inconvenient as ive got a day off today

I noticed my radiator fan had small cracks in it, so I grabbed a upgraded SR20 fan from Gktech along with an RB adapter..

Even without a shroud it sucks/blows in a pathway instead of just moving around in every direction like the stock one.

Got a 2nd hand cheapy carbon valley cover just to see what theyre like, not too bad tbh.. im gonna change all the speedflow fittings to black ones, and I really wanna fuck the green off

Also had to quickly Mcguyver some ramps up the other week as the curb out front of my new rental house is fucking bullshit.. literally gets steeper in front of our driveway compared to the rest of the culdesac lol

Hopefully more of my crap rocks up soon so I can sort the major shit out

Watch the fan, a mate had one throw blades off within a few hours of installing.

Other than that I like gktech gear and have some in both the s13 and r32.

My GTR just fills a hole in the garage too, though my old gtst was a track whore.
    meh
