Pete - Damo and I are after some simple old school looking roof racks for out old vee-hickles, done in much the same way as the Gold in this thread:

Could we call on your skills for this?

Pete, the youngsters are paying stupid bucks for these things, could be a worthwhile thing if easily jiggable? One of the links in that thread is talking crack money... I also know there's a few on the Benz forums who might like one.

Awesome. The gutter mount brackets may be the trickiest part.

just a matter of dicking around with cardboard and nailing down a shape that works.

A huge thanks pete for my fuel pump hanger! The lines match up perfectly with the tank!

I would post the photos but I don't have them on my iPad.

Pete did an awesome job adding a few extra herbs and spices to my MX-5. Now I can get to the salon in half the time.

That manifold collector looks really nice. What do you cut the angles with? Freehand it with a grinder or mill it?

yep big chunks with a thin disk to within 5mm or so, then linish to size.
you question the meaning of life about half way through a manifold.

as close to equal length as practical.

I have a rough idea on what i want to spend but this is one of those times that Ill have to pay paver money because getting it done right is more important than losing my sanity trying to do it myself (again)

Can send rough diagrams/build plan etc, I know how many bends they need and the order they need to be placed.

Not looking for marcella quality as long as they dont crack and they dont leak.

Damn that's nice. How do you seal collectors like that in between the pipes? Do you cut out like a 4 point star and weld it on the inside? I've got some 2 into 1 collectors to do on my exhaust, so much gap on the inside don't know what people normally do.
