In related to this thread news. This car should be pretty good I reckon.

My brother and his 2 sons have entered they wont let me be part of the team as they think I
will kill the car and wont follow their driving instructions. After reading the rules I don't think
$1000 car could do the race anyway. If I did it I would start the race then park it and restart
the last 10 minutes. Job done

she is almost done the lemon

hopefully all this ebay shit will survive

    quality looks ok
    oil cooler
    fuel tank
    fuel brace

the cams scrotum has confirmed he just wants a aditional diagonal in the roof and a harness bar( which came with the car)to pass log book so thats next on the hit list.

What would be peoples thoughts on mounting the fuel cell like that? The thought of a rear ended turning the cut edge of the floor into a knife to the fuel cell made me avoid doing it.

    CoG < firey death. lol

I too would like to know this, cams dude had no dramas. Personally I would have left it stock and ran a surge tank but they specifically asked for it

If it was under the boot I would have negative ground clearance

Check out my thread if you want ideas for a simple turbo setup. All my gear is china/factory nissan and the 30E is making bulk torque through most of the rev range!
