Yeah Julian, there is definitely more grip there. Just couldnít seem to captitalise on it. Camera is an early model Garmin VIRB. Itís been a rock solid little camera.

Yeah Monk. Jordan is shooting it. Be good to get some proper pics. Re the ďbus stopĒ I havenít really had proper powerful cars where I have needed to lift there. Porka, evo etc have all been flat through there so couldnít say I felt a real difference there. Although maybe I wasnít making best use of that new feature.

Cheers Marlin. Will be sure to pop past when I arrive. Itís a pretty different thing to when you last saw it. You will have to take it for a spin and truly appreciate the 1970ís vintage of it.

So safely made the pilgrimage to QLD. Chopped out the 4300 odd kms in 4 days. Relatively stress free run other than google deciding the fastest way through to Walgett was via 30km of gravel. Bit of dust to vacuum out of the porka. Had some cracking camp spots along the way. Straight into town today and to the Breakfast Creek Hotel for a XXXX off the wood and a steak.

Looking forward to settling in and getting to some local events in the car. Noosa hillclimb is on the radar.

Someone once asked me if they could use my mower. I said "sure, so long as it doesn't leave my yard"

    Cheers fellas,

Cllutch, Roger re Bathurst. Was planning to get involved with the local porka club. Also hoping to get to Challenge Bathurst later this year. Easy to get your head around a 1 day drive. Harder to get excited about 3 plus days each way from Perth.

Jason I had ITBís when they were cool. These other guys fitting em lately are just getting on the bandwagon 😉

Cheers Guido. Steak at the Breakfast Creek was on point as was the ale. Although after 4 days on the road I would have probably drunk hot horse piss and said the same. Our house settles next week, so have a week in a pet friendly air bnb and then the big unpack and movie in is on. So a couple of weeks of getting storage solutions sorted and making it feel like home and getting the nopics settled I will definitely be keen for beers. Appreciate the offer.
