Well. No call about travel insurance. 2 days now.

Had to get it elsewhere. Sorry.

    Morning All,

Thought I would give you an update on the 321Connect Program.

Firstly as you will have noticed, the forum has not been over run with flash banners etc as per the promise.

In the first 4 weeks of operation - we have had a take up of 6 poilicies and have 17 still active in the PF system. The mix of these has been electricity, home and car insurance and there are a couple of car finance quote still moving ahead with members.

This means the month's contribution is $150 that we will arrange for Bill to invoice them directly.

Hopefully some of the guys that have used the service can let us know how it has gone - I personally did it through electricity and ended up with leaving energy australia and landed at Lumo and a 11% pay on time discount and 10,000 VFF points plus 3 per $1 spent as that works for me.

Site has been slightly updated for simplified used - pf.321connect.com.au and as per orginial note if you have any questions on this please shout out.

We are working on putting together a simplifed vehicle finance quote system to share with you in the very near future that will be as simple as you sending an email with vehicle, terms and km and they will be able to return to you with refinancing options, re-purchase or simply advise if you are on the best possible arrangement FOC.

    Cheers

I got a phone call from Allianz apologising for not calling me about travel insurance. It has now been implemented. A+ for getting back to me.

Insurance is up in a a couple of months. Will hopefully use.

Good to hear you blokes are getting something from it.
We're okay for the next month, but we'll need more every month after that.

We do all our house and car insurance through Allianz and usually go through a process of cancelling and getting new insurance cause it saves about $300/year over just renewing. Bit of a hassle over a weekend but the saving is worth it.

Will use this service next time...

We are happy to do some kind of sponsorship (automotivesuperstore.com.au) given what we sell is smack aligns with the demographic of the users on this forum..

PM me directly and we can perhaps workout something that will work for the forum its members and us.

+1 Didn't know you'se needed cash. Is your hosting stupid BS expensive??
I have always wondered why PF has never done this. The forum mentioned, when you visit not logged in you get a lot of banner adds, but when logged in operation is seamless. Must beat asking for donations. If you can get a couple hundred a month, why not? Keep the 321connect thing, but add this as well.

    Performance forums funding partnership.

The tapatalk posts are a bit intrusive compared to banners via adsense I reckon. I accidentally clicked one thinking it was a thread, I guess that's the point, but with the forum ads you can set all sorts of rules for who sees them and who doesn't which is a good thing I reckon.

Tapatalk always bugs me to run ads on our forum but I've never looked into it, no idea which end it comes from.
