I probably couldve gone a smaller tank, but its what I had, fits in there all ok now.

Bigger turbo has been considered, I will have to see what happens when its up and running and if we run out of turbo.

I've read on the interwebs (and seen pics) of people having dramas with silicone elbows blowing out at decent boost levels and a lot of people prefer a fabricated elbow and straight silicone joiner or a v band/wiggins thing if it doesn't need to flex

its on the list to change now i have a little more room around that area. Probably goto something like a clamshell/vband as you suggested. Just havent got around to it yet, and in the short term isnt going to stop the car from running if we get to that point before i get it rectified.

Originally i really didnt want to weld to the hypertune throttle body. Now i have a case of zero fucks, just make it work syndrome.

I'm expecting to have the driveline back in this on Saturday. Clean everything as we go, then wire it, hook up some power and see what leaks/lets smoke out and go from there. The goal is to have it "running" for the show on the 17th. I won't have the 16v battery, but will put 12v on it for test.

Driveline won't be in until Monday night, I fucked up a measurement for a shim when I was putting it all together yesterday. Need to water jet a thicker spacer for backside of crank, so will go out and sort that on Monday morning, but there's still heaps I can do around it

Might start at pedal box and kinda work outwards. Fuel cell, some lines, diff collar can all happen today, pretty comfy in this chair though lol.

Today was a cunt of a day. Front master was seized lost a few hours there, will order another one in the morning. Got the 2 filters and pump mounted and boot lines ran. Had to make up some spaces that took a slab of time as well. Pump is a magnafuel pro tuner. Also got the collar mounted and sensor I had into a bracket and tested turning by hand. If anyone can guess what the sensor is from bonus points for them.

    No need to torque them.

Add loctite and tighten the shit out of them.

Did what I could with them, offset spanners ftw! Started on wiring tonight, hopefully have it knocked by weekend. Then finish plumbing some brakes and oil/air lines, then put power on and see if it's happy
