Hrmm, fair enough. It looks very very similar to one he had until recently is the only reason I ask.

Took it to a local well known bike shop today and asked about getting a single seat, low bars and some 2" forwarder controls. Guy behind the counter writes down some websites on a bit of paper, gives it to me and says, "When you get the bits bring them in and we'll fit them, no worries"

Better that than having them sting you retail + install on a set of bars for $1k + when you could buy some drag bars and internally wire them yourself for 1/4 the price.

I sorta get that but if I wanted to go that way I wouldn't have ridden all the way to their shop

Removed rear seat and sissy bar. Also moved the bars forward a bit. I'll see how it goes with my shoulder

    Nice ride.
Logical debate beats name calling any day. My Badges Of Honour so far in PF: Racist, Bigot, Islamaphobe, Numpty, Moron, Far Right Wing Nationalist, Far Fight Wing Fascist, "raving fucking lunatic", "dumb" & climate "denier". AND they are just SOME of the pathetic tags that I've been labelled by SOME here. HINT: Those labels are signs that the accusers have lost to logical debate.

Maybe it's time for them to check some facts. Here's a good starting point: http://www.mostdamagingwikileaks.com

    Looks heaps better already!
    1990 E30 BMW 318is - In progress!
1974 KE25 Corolla Coupe - So much rust...
1955 Matchless G9 - On the road and loving it!
1954 Matchless G80 - Because the one above runs too well so I need something more broken...
And a fucking 1962 Rover... Because that makes sense

Give it time lol. My no pics said that about her 650 Ninja. Went to our local HD dealer for a look (for bits for mine) ended up buying her a 2016 Wide Glide with a stage 1 kit.

Lol, just came here to post that

Apparently parts avail for 10 years (we'll see). I went to Brisons yesterday and they had floor stock way cheap, now I know why

Think about a low rider s. I've been building a mates breakout and it's the worst bike I've ever ridden. Like totally useless.

    What's wrong with them?

While I have you, what's involved electrically with fitting an LED headlight?

It literally doesn't turn. I had to put my foot out motocross style to make one of those smallish roundabouts.

If you are talking Harley led. It's plug and play. (Daymaker light) it's no different from any other light really.

If you want a cruiser style. Go for the street bob with forward controls. Same engine just without the 80kgs additional weight and stupid wide tyre.

The low rider S is the pick. I'm thinking of selling up all the toys and grabbing one. 110 cubic inch in a lightweight combo with big brakes and good suspension.

Not sure when/if the new Milwaukee Eight engine is coming to the Softails/Dynas but I'd wait until they do - maybe mid/late this year?

Think next year they'll be fitted to other models. Also have a look at Hog lights for a good light. Low rider S is good value for what you get.

Yeah I would be interested to see if the m8 comes next year across the board. Tuners have been getting huge power increases with head/cam combos.

It might only come in top dollar softails first then dynas the year later. I remember they staggered the 96/103ci engines here.

Yeah I'd say that's what they'll do, also heard the same a stage 1 kit well out performs a stage 2-3 103. I'd like to have a play with the 114

Hmmm, I dunno. Harley dealer won't give me anything for it, literally, doesn't want it at any price :/

And the 10 year thing, dunno, it's months now for any bits and I'm sure the bits won't be cheap....grrr

Hahaha. I'm not a Dyna fan but I'd have that. Awesome base for a killer engine.
