    1967 VH Camaro

    Dream car level V

    350, tremec 5 speed, 10 bolt

Body off rotisserie show quality paint

    Spotless interior

    Rebuilt steering and suspension

    Plan is.....cruise!

In the off season, I'll add power steering and may change over to an auto depending on what it's like to cruise (from what I've seen lots of stop start stuff) Also would like a hidden sound system and GPS tracker

Really has been a dream car since I was a teen (no, they weren't new then)

This and the Arrow won't ever be sold, the rest are subject to change without notice

I'll need to get to some cruises (kurri festival, cooly etc) before I'll really know what I want/need

I think it will be fun to drive with the 5 speed. You'll be surprised how lazy you can be with changing gears with a mild smallblock and you can still run it through the gears when you want without needed stupid power to be fun. As long as the clutch isn't too heavy (which can be fixed if it is)

Yeah the seller just replaced the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel and it's hell heavy. Will swap it out if it becomes a pain in the thigh

How does this handle compared to a semi trailer, which I can also afford.

Very nice... stick with the manual if you can. Might suck a bit in traffic, but when you're enjoying some twistier roads you'll be glad you stuck with it.

The things just don't fucking handle without cash thrown at them, so manual may be a moot point unless you just like banging gears

You won't be commuting in it so leave it manual and sack up.

Vintage Air, throw some money at CPP for some front end kit - tubular control arms, sways etc. Power steering optional, it's a man's car so drive it like a man. Seriously though depends how heavy it is, mine is manual (and a small lighter car) and is not really heavy but long way from one lock to the other, if you do PS, Air etc factor in a serpentine system (ask 6000SUX on here as he did his after getting sick of throwing belts)

    Looks good.

Everyone with early (C2-C3) vettes reckon an overdrive box was the best mod they've ever made. So 5sp tremec isn't that unusual a mod for a US muscle car. It makes them so much more usable when you can drive at highway speeds without them screaming. And the more you enjoy driving it, the more you drive it.
Ya'll don't know what it's like. Being male, middle class and white.

Very true. Although having owned a big old Falcon wagon with a V8, manual box and no power steering it mattered not a fucking jot that it didn't handle very well. Plenty of fun was had!

If I want to play in the twisties, there's better options in the garage...
