They dropped the container on it's side in Bris - her harley landed on top of all the other bikes, C10 was hard against the side of the container, they put it on the train/truck without looking inside, carnage discovered in Melb - C10 had rubbed through some panels - not just through the paint, but through the fucking panels, and there was oil and fuel everywhere. They coughed up and paid for the Harley to be made good in very short order (She had 4 days before it was on a boat to tassie to tour around), and assume they unfucked everything else.

    Makes one wonder though.

I know about a dozen people who ship their tarmac rally cars a few times a year Brisbane to Melbourne. I used to ship mine with them when I competed as well. Nobody has had a drama, and I'm not aware of any of them that have gone via rail, all by road, depot to depot.

Yeah, the container/rail thing threw me a little - do Ceva run containers up and down the coast by road? Either way, bikes and a "truck" went in a container and came out mildly fucked.
Never heard of any other dramas with them though. Perhaps this was the exception?

Dropping a container on it's side is extremely rare/almost impossible to do. Your GF was very unlucky and the guy who did it is a cunt for not saying anything at the time - he would've been reamed.

had a car shipped by ceva, one of the truck drivers damaged a spot light and marked the bumper lucky takai was a champ and took a pic of it as he left it at the depot when he dropped it off.

rang ceva and they sorted it no worries.

    this.

Had CEVA damage a car of mine about 2 years ago. They scratched it from headlight to tail light up one side, and then try and say it was already like that. They paid out after a bit of a dispute.

    Plan is.....cruise!

In the off season, I'll add power steering and may change over to an auto depending on what it's like to cruise (from what I've seen lots of stop start stuff) Also would like a hidden sound system and GPS tracker

Really has been a dream car since I was a teen (no, they weren't new then)

This and the Arrow won't ever be sold, the rest are subject to change without notice
i know your shoulder is bung chuck but if you go to an auto. i'm going to steal this.

His ice dealer probably ran out of gear. Don't stress I'm sure he's probably coping fine

Travel time depends on how many other cars he's dropping off and where I guess
