Without doubt the most dangerous and worse car I ever owned.
Traded it in on a Starion after 2 days. One of my favourite cars of all time.
You guys on here would of appricated the Cordia if I kept it because I honesty
feel it would of killed me within 5 days.

That's funny, I owned a Cordia MANY years ago that had well over 300whp, and it was perfectly fine... if frying the front tyres for the first 3 gears is your kind of thing.

If it would have killed you within 5 days, then I dare say it's probably more down to you as a driver.

I had one too. For 10 years.
Doing hills runs through Adelaide was always amusing, such as pulling up at the bottom of Belair rd on the handbrake (because front brakes cooked) and waiting at the traffic lights with smoke pouring out from the front wheels.

After my 3rd (2nd hand) turbo install I went for a quick drive to get it warm and check for leaks. Unfortunately I hadn't bolted down the bonnet the night before. It came off at about 80km/h and I just kept accelerating - fucked if I wanted that spearing into the roof.

I also recall having a leaking gasket on the injector feed hose. Rather than fix it properly I cut up the red rubber cap on the positive battery terminal and fashioned it into a gasket. It still leaked (although slightly less), so I bought a fire extinguisher.

That cordia is really neat, after you run 13s you should list it for sale in Japan, they'd pay big bucks for something that clean and fast.

Apart from the capacity, why is the dash motor so much better than the Sirius motors? Many years ago I had a 1.8 Sirius motor ( hence the outdated username ) in a sigma, head work, 13bt injectors, supra front mount, t25 with 20 psi, scorpion diff locked, multi point injection with haltech. Ran 14.1 and couldn't quite crack into 13s.

Speaking of Adelaide there was a blue colt with a bodykit and cordia drivetrain in it in Adelaide when I was driving about, was a decent looking thing for the time.

Here for the Cordia, staying for the Roger.

I do have to say that white one is one of the cleanest I've seen aside from the scrappy front lower moulding. 80'stastic.

How do you find a Cordia with a 2L engine for $800?

Actually, on second thoughts, I don't want to know.

    I achieved 14.1 seconds with >

    standard sirus 1.8 litre engine
    standard ecu
    standard turbo
    standard fuel throttlebody injection
    no nitrous or nitrofuel/avgas
    no headwork
    no cam upgrade

    Mods:
    17psi
    exhuast upgrade
    my special touch intercooling.

Do you get the picture. I understand how mad you were. Compare how much you have spent, compared to my standard setup and achieved the same time. With the 2L DASH, setup my way, words cant describe what was achieved.

Hey Rodger, are you going to record your record breaking run when you hit the creek ? I'd love to see it.

Do you have any empirical data showing how your special cooler improved performance over a stock setup?

Is this thing ready to run 13's? I'm going to WSID next Wednesday, we can run a grudge match, my 13 second car vs. your 13 second car.

Nah mate, bought it when it was completely unmolested, and built it up over 5-10 years. What a waste of $50K...
