Turn the blower up and spray 100hp gas in it at the throttle body. Use meth for your nitrous enrichment fuel. That should get your inlet temps down.

On a more real level though I think putting some fuel in pre blower would make it a lot happier. Even ghetto meth spray using boost pressure to push it in

Cool car mate. What turbos have you got to go on? I would stick with factory intake. No aftermarket intake delivers the low end power that the factory intake does, and this will be helpful with a manual trans. Unless you are revving it hard factory intakes work really well.

General everything duties really but needs stonking top end as gunning for 300kph at the SM1000 lol! In a Cressida anyways, 408 with LS3 heads....everything ported, forged etc still T56 so will need some mech sympathy but a 6060 will go in if I break the 56. Turbo option are a Mr Billet with 80mm comp wheel (inducer obviously) and a tightish 0,95 a/r T6 rear.....or Chinabay T70 twins.

I recently put a nice twin 3inch into single 3.5 exhaust on as the car was running a big twinscrew.....long story but ditched that for current turbo plan

Both those options will work well. Excuse my ignorance, but what is SM1000?? I personally would be leaning towards the twins to help reduce backpressure. Both those options have plenty of compressor. But I think you should be focusing more so on the turbine options.... With a camshaft to suit.... What are the turbine specs on the turbos?

The twins are Chinabay "T70"... Ballpark GT3582 size with T3 0.84 twin entry hot side. Not that keen on them, but I have them and if they don't fail they seem to get results on TT V8s.

I would personally pick the single turbo option from what you have. But I would limit rpm to 6500 max with that turbine on those cubes. Cressida has 3.9 diff gears? T56 has .5 in 6th? You should nearly reach 300 km in top of 5th.

So why doesn't my billet LS3 fuel rail fit my inlet?

    LS3 heads yeah?

    So assuming LS3 manifold?

But fuel rails don't even go close....with either stock or shorty injectors.

    Anyone got an idea?

No LS experts can shed some light? Are there multiple LS3 or L92 inlet manifold options?

Googled plenty but what I have appears to be a run of the mill LS3 inlet?

Photo looks like it matches, maybe you have been sent the incorrect fuel rail rather than the other components being incorrect????

This is fuel rail set number 2 and same issue as the first set they sent me.....Racework rails and they haven't had an issue reported from crumpledoor owners? Got me stuffed?

But you have to consider they have sent you the incorrect stuff twice as opposed to all your other hardware being incorrect though? Can you borrow known ls3 fuel rails to check against what you have?

Nothing to do with LS being the same heads left to right and offset by the width of a conrod? I know this is the manifold but it looks eerily close to being something like that. I assume you've done plenty of flipping and switching and mirroring?

Cool ride. Still remember the day I went in a Cressida as a kid sometime in the 80's. Such a smooth ride.

Yeah each rail is identical, just reversed for the other side. I've flipped to no avail...one orientation is closer as pictured but not a goer. Injector bosses are angled but not enough to make up for the offset pictured.

also have ls3 mani i can measure up ports on.

also have aerofail ls1 rails i can measure holes.

Let me know what you want to know.

5364 heads are usually l98 heads, but pretty much same as ls3 but no light weight valves. Manifold holes will be same across the board, but later ones do have shorty injectors.

Not first time ive heard billet rails not fitting

Am I right in saying you could make 4 new alloy tabs to fix the issue or is there more too it that I can't see?

This is plan C, but wil solve the issue yup. Fuel rail kits are cheap enough that I'd prefer just paying for a kit that will fit rather than dodge up some new brackets though.

So I offset the mounting tabs and appear to have got an acceptable result....injectors are still on a bit of an angle so hopefully the fat arse o-rings still seal....time will tell.

    It lives again!!!

Only n/a just now as pondering options.

This round it has roller rockers, new coils, bigger radiator, twin thermos, billet fuel rails. Wiring needs a serious tidy up but priority was to get it running for now

It's got some poke even na, I like it ...a lot

Decision is whether to try for engineering now, then massive rush job to get boost into it for the Snowy 1000? Or just wack the supercharger back on with smaller pulley and shitloads of WI (tow it go Cooma). Worry about engineering later....probably going to be tight either way but engineering first is less dicking around and cheaper in the long run. Can't buy time

Yeah much bettera is the consensus....the Matt charcoal was better again but I tried the pearlizer and no going back really.

Hopefully get the car back in time to reinstall the SC next weekend...small pulley but boost a little Unknown...12ish psi would be decent I think. I'll take anything over 400rwkw but 450+ would be awesomesauce
