Watched an old ep of Your4x4 on YouTube last night, they did a run through the Vic high country. There was a 200 in the convoy with all the shit bolted on, but seemingly no lockers. Looked like it had twin open diffs going up a steep rocky track. The bloke had his poor wife track building the whole way up lol.

Was surprised at the lack of traction control or lockers in the 200, that or he wasn't using them properly.

Bought a Titan Drawer system. For $440 delivered, its a no brainer. Some drawers are $2500! The only negatives I think are sharp edges on the metal fram (I just buzzed them back with a sanding block) and its heavy, about 80kg

    Unboxed:

Used two bolts for the tie down points toward the front of the car, and 2 right at the rear.

Remove the non fridge slide sides top
Titan Drawers-0974 by Shane, on Flickr

    And remove the drawers

Mount the frame in the car, and thats where I figured what points to use, pretty easy

Side wings fitted, i had to trim one side due to the water tank i have in the side panels buldging out.

    Fit the top back on

    And finished!

One thing I was worried about was the child anchors, but there is just enough room, and height, and using an extension strap, it works!

Also invested in a decent (for the price about $150) dash cam. Viofo A119S

Nice, just make sure you get a cargo barrier asap. Makes the back pretty useless for carrying things without one.

Really? Problem is, i wont be able to cart stuff thats long, like exhausts etc...

I actually have a problem with the beast atm....its suddenly idling at 1100rpm.

Do any of you know what I can check? Like Vacume lines etc? I have had a quick look, everything seems to be intact..

Is the rubber thing on the end of the throttle cable jamming it slightly on? Or the a/c idle up on the side of the pump?

Spent the day fitting front, rear, side bars (IronMan) and Safari Snorkel on a mates MQ Triton. In the off time, I squeezed in replacing the rocker cover gasket on the 80 as it was leaky. The gasket seemed fine when I took it off tho..
Cooler pipe had to come off

Fitted the Rhino Rack Pioneer platform a few weeks ago...now I gotta just sort out fittings for high lift jack, shovel and Max tracks for that complete ricer look :P
Very happy with the rack, no noise at all at 110km...
Hit Menai yesterday for a quick run, and as usual it just cruised up and down everything. No need for lockers..BUT that high idle is making it really shit for off roading...

What size platform is that? Do they sit on top of the bars or do the feet mount direct to the platform?

Cheers, width looks like it should work for me, although I'll probably go the longer one since it'll be going on a van.
