Plus it's drum rear so no calliper to brake through like cracker originally stated just the bearing retainer plate to wear down which would probably be like 1 or 2 hours easily.

Jesus christ your a fucking wanker.

do you seriously think drum brake cars dont have bearing retainers?
While its possible the cunt has been driving on that for 6hrs, id doubt it since its a common jeep thing (go google jeep broken axle fuck face) and they would almost have to be as retarded as you to disregard the massive metal on metal sounds.

heres another i prepared earlier. Im sure they all drove 6hrs like that

and so on. Now get back in your box you fucking pelican.

you did say cracka was making that shit up. so tell us, how is the above happening?

so clearly the retainer plates/bolts are failing. ever looked at falcon/r31 etc rear disc setup? what are the caliper mounts held on by?

while ive never seen a disc brake rear do the above, clearly its possible.

He never has done what he was explaining. And who the fuck would rev the guts out of a suzuki and drop a wheel down as hard as you can unless you were trying to see if you can break axles. Plus old mate doing the full floaters said he was doing it for the extra load in his suzuki I did say "why are they needed in such a small 4X4" assuming that no one ever uses them as a ute.

The real question is who hasn't done that in a Suzuk!

So Cruiser got an upgrade, means the Ranger had to have one too!

Why a chip, well for the price I paid secondhand I could have 3 ECU tunes and still have a similar power output. I can also remove the thing and take it for a service without having to worry about warranty shit.

All the other supporting mods, process west intercooler and 3" redback exhaust, I should have close to 200kw and 620Nm.

Took the XC70 onto Whitehills beach today with some other crew, had new Dunlop Grandtrek PT2 let down to 18psi. Went like a trooper and certainly got some funny looks amongst the real 4wd crowd there today.

Washers welded top and bottom. Filled with chemset and drilled. Too dodgy? Don't forget it's not a daily and basically driven on road to get to tracks.

Why would you do that when real body lift blocks are dirt cheap?

If welded there is no issue for safety. In fact could be safer than some off the shelf kits. It's just a pain. If you have the time go for it

$30 for 10 road legal 50mm body lift blocks including freight to the NT. Can't see the point of hollow non crush proof
body lift blocks when good parts are so cheap.

It's just to cheap and simple to do things correctly.

Stick of 75mm nylon shit from a bearing place, cut to length and drill centre. Use original washers/plates and new high tensile bolts.

Wont cost much more than that.

Anyone got any experience with the elcheapo eBay snorkels? Wanna buy one for my 80 but am on a severely limited budget atm..

Are they ok or just steer clear and save for a Safari or something...

Bear in mind cheap ones are ~$100 while the Safari and the like are $3-400..
