Official Non Compete / Not Classified from VASC though. Specifically stating they didn't start the race, no timed results. Considering Game Of Chance, there needs to be a Chance of them to win? Essentially that's like removing a lottery number before the draw.

Should I try it on, you reckon? Live chat pretty much said GTFOH. But can go further.

What results are you going to use ? Should sportsbet put their own guy up the back of a grandstand somewhere with a stopwatch, pen and paper, writing his own rules ?

Official results are official results, you losing a few bucks doesn;t make them wrong. To my way of thinking, they were classed as not starting because, well, they didn't start the race. Gridding up isn't "the race"

but they don't cross the Start line for the Parade lap..
On TV they said that he has to be at the end of the (now closed) pit lane before the green flag is waved by the rear of grid marshal to be considered a starter..

They crashed on the out lap. They were heading out to the grid, from there they do a warm-up lap, re-grid, and then start the race.

In any case they just refunded me and listed as "void" Am impressed - good shit SportsBet.

SportsBet state in their Ts and Cs that they use VASC official timing / results for their own results. If V8's say NC, untimed and didn't start the race (which you would say is when the actual clock starts on flag drop) then looks like that's what we all go on

Sportsbet are pretty good with that stuff. I had money on Tander to win at Philip Is. a few years back when he ran out of fuel in the last hundred metres. They refunded without question.

Definitely looks a lot worse onboard this year.

Did it look that bad on the telecast from Adelaide? Maybe some kind of interference at the track?

I heard them say they are using the FOM coverage rather than the regular Supercars crew, Iím not sure how that relates to the in car cameras though.

Ok, bit of a random question. Wandered through the Supertaxi pit area during the F1, and noticed that many of the tyres had what looked like hot pressure markings on them in paint pen. Fair enough.

Several though seemed to have multiple differing numbers, which looked more like temperature readings, rather than pressure. Such as 30 31 31 32 or 31 31 31 32 across the face of the tyre. But the numbers are too low to be temperature readings (would be seeing 90C+ core temp), and non sensical to have multiple tyre pressures on the one tyre across the face like that.

The only thing i could think of was perhaps it is a rotation pattern, or different pressures on each corner. But then i noticed that some of the brand new tyres had the same markings, so its not like they marked them all up when they came off the car after coming in.

    Anyone able to illuminate?

Desired hot pressure across the face of the tyre.

Probably don't need to - assume they know what the drop/increase is from inner to outter and work from there.

Not sure pressure works like that.

Tread depth would be my guess. 31 = 3.1mm.

Lol at variable pressure across tyre face. Tread depth is probably the best guess or maybe hardness

Easier to work in round numbers.

Also, given how ambiguous the numbers may be, it could be anything. The teams aren't necessarily going to display info to other teams.

In a closed vessel the pressure is equal in all directions, the hoop stress is also something to consider.

Rubber hardness does make sense, Would explain the variability across the tyre and tyre sets, and why the higher numbers were almost universally on the inner edge. Would also roughly figure for a Shore rating, as a road car tyre is about 70 Duro on the A scale.

Did I really need to use italics?.. I have invented a new machine that reads the different tyre pressures across tne face of a tyre. You buy! You buy! Make you very fast!

    Tread depth..

It looks pretty damn dead on to the actual Lowndsey Triple 8 Betta. Even though people do replicate liveries on older Supercars.

Iíve heard that Dean Canto drove it so it must be a Briggs chassis mocked up as a Triple 8 car.

Technically it's a Triple Eight car, but a Briggs Motorsport one. It only ran a handful of events when they bought the team, before they built two new cars for '05. After that it was a show car until they sold it to a couple of different DVS teams.

It never raced in the current livery
