4 months later and I might finally get stuck into this this week. lol.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

The tape is completely fine for engine bays. Unless your running against headers etc. split tubing has a lower rating than 80

Someone once asked me if they could use my mower. I said "sure, so long as it doesn't leave my yard"

Redoing a mates loom for him. I didn't tape it before putting braid on, not sure it's needed. I haven't shrunk the big heat shrink yet so can still tape it up.

How many meters did that get you???

I bought some more m22759-16 wire last month - $350 without shipping - without even trying.

just on 30m total across 6 sizes, 10 shrink boots in straight and 90's, moulded 90deg pressure and injector boots, billet AMP ecu connector backshells, crimp splices etc..

wire was 16c a foot, i brought $400 worth of that, then another $200 in DT pins and connectors, then 16 injector plugs, 15 pressure sensors etc..

Have got some of the cloth tape from these guys: http://www.carbuilders.com.au/fleece-tape as opposed to outright random ChinaBay cloth tape and it seems a decent enough quality. Waiting on a batch of the stuff from the original post to arrive. Looking forward to moving away from working with the traditional Nitto tape....

Have a PVC sleeved ECU loom I need to extensively neaten and tie into a cloth wrapped chassis loom.

Will be interesting getting this trimmed down and routed in a way that is largely tucked up and away from view.

There was a mob on eBay based in Sydney selling just about every size/colour combo by the metre. Stuff seems a bit heavier/less flexible than the Jaycar/Electus black hobby stuff.

They also did the heat shrink.

It's for a homebuilt of some description.
Some of the previous Suzuki motors he's put together are powering powered trike hanglider things.

Hence I'd never fly in a homebuilt.

I've flown on all of the aircraft I've fixed over the years, but only because I know how many redundant systems there are, lol.

Any good sources for firewall grommets with boots? Want to reuse the AC holes for wiring.
