    Yep, it acts exactly like a Turbo man, it ramps up and by 3.5k feels awesome.

    Man how the fck I check a leak on this thing?? And yes it has VVTi

    No intercooler on them. Here is the Dyno graphs for both Blitz and Trust kits on the same car

    check around gaskets and joiners for oily residue?

    that blitz dyno plot is suss as, what the fuck is going on at 2k lol! knock sensor must have gone into overdrive. again makes me think there is something going on down low to limit the boost. do you have more pictures of the whole setup in your engine bay?

    the power figures on the blitz dyno plot are likely flywheel figures also, hence the higher numbers

    it wont be an sc14 unless it is massively underdriven. more likely an sc12 or even a smaller ogura unit

    Its a clutch pulley.

    Belt is the one that comes with kit.

    Someone mentioned that E-Manage Ultimate doesnt control VVTi, so think the tuner just tuned for when VVTi cuts in at 3.5k rpm

    If it's a SC14 It's really old tech, two lobe rotors etc.. it will make boost just don't expect the world... you can measure the crank pulley and the blower pulley that will tell you the drive ratio is, maximum you're looking for is spinning the blower to about 10,000 rpm.

    Some water injection pre blower will help.

    if the belt were slipping you would see it on the boost plot. normally the slip gets worse with revs so the pressure should go erratic as the revs go up. dont think its slip.

    Bypass valve sticking? Something is causing the slow boost build...it should be literally instant full boost with full throttle from anywhere 1000rpm and upwards

    Yeah, but even with the supercharger off, down low is shit. Esecially when its cold...like this morning, 2nd gear, would not go past 22km/h

    lol, a standalone will cost more than the cars worth. The kit doesnt even come with a standalone, it comes with an air/fuel contoller box which is pre configured.

    i couldnt see a bypass valve in the pics you posted, but i presume there is one. as per my earlier post i would be poking around there and seeing what controls it/whether it is working properly. really it is just a guess tho

    man please put an ECU on it... my mates turbo setup with an e-manage just never worked properly, ever.. it's always fighting the stock ECU and runs like turd

    put a haltech on it, tuned it in about 15 mins flat and car is a completely different beast, works perfectly, makes power safely, and yes its a shitty hatch back thing just like yours.. doo ittttt

    If its just a shitty station car you should have left it stock.... It's a project car now and as such there should be no issue with spending more than the cars value to get it running right 😉

    Just stick the most basic haltech on it, will shit on some piggyback abortion.

    Update, a year later and the car runs flawlessly, fuel economy isnt any worse than factory, have had some good little digs here and there aswell as a couple of wakefield Days. Gets driven everyday by the no pics

    I think I want more power, Im thinking of getting a larger (?) crank pulley, to increase boost seeing there is nothing off the shelf to change the supercharger pulley. Does anyone know about these light weught crank pulleys, weather they can limit the life of the engine?
