Red car straight up shits me - if you're building a case for the price by saying what a rare combination it is from factory, the second line shouldn't be "driveline from a different car"

If its not original - its not collectible

He might as well brag that its the only car Toyota produced with that VIN.

Dude, Paul Walker will never drive that Toyota-badged BMW 4-series thing on film ... !

Supra to be released April 2019 it will be limited numbers world wide, so it might be collectable and it will 100% go up in value at frist like the FT86's did. you could buy one on pre order and sell it as soon as it came for more then you paid.

Anyway, i could not get the price from the boss, but i will keep everyone udpated

I don't know that the demand:supply equation will be as high as for FT86, based on price. 2.5x the price doesn't mean 2/5 the demand, the reduction in demand is closer to exponential with rising price once you get over about $40k or thereabouts.
It's going to be over $100k, isn't it?

At Geneva, Tada-san didn't rule out the possibility of a manual transmission, but he made it seem unlikely. The same Supra fans that clamored for a turbocharged straight-six apparently weren't asking for a manual gearbox.

Who are these fucktard fans they keep asking?

Most manual guys dream of a sequential gearbox anyway so might as well give them that feeling :P

So itís about the same weight as the JZA80 was, and only 20hp better?

Iím sure it will be far better balanced and handling than the old model but.... those numbers will be the headline for sure

    Fixed.

They've bored us now. The thing will cost a mint and be under performing leaving the newer cars to best it. I dare Toyota to prove me wrong.

Itíll cost like a 440i would cost if you removed the BMW engine & fitted a Toyota one ... mind you, thatís no more expensive than a JZA80 nearly 20 years ago.

Yup, non socialist block. Aka each punter gets to decide how much hp they want to add instead of the state dictating how much they can have. It will be foreign to some. /i

Keen to see what price Toyota Aus will try jip the strayan market with - numbers don't seem impressive for the kind of figures hot hatches are coming out with these days. Still find it IMPURE that it has a BMW powered heart, ffs - here's hoping that it's somewhat reasonable to purchase, has an array of aftermarket parts and tuning options or inb4 POS.

Big question is will the Fanbois still make 1000hp with a China bleed valve like they did with the old ones?

I wonder if we'll see the return of white cars with enough soot on the rear bumper to put a Diesel to shame?
