I would like to spend money on brakes once. So if I can afford it, get something that will work. The car does need brake ducts for sure. The heat coming off the front wheels was amazing.
I am also thinking I should just keep the car set up for VicV8's and not worry about IPRA. I will start again with a Jap car for IPRA.

It is mounted too low, and too far forward to do a lot, especially on such a low speed track. It felt planted around the sweeper, but the slower corners didn't feel like it was doing much. It's set at zero degrees as well. Can't wait to stick it in the air stream. I might just get my MX5 on the track without its rollcage and do a proper test. There is a bunch of data online for this wing showing it to excel with high downforce and low drag. It also makes a good bench to sit the 25l Jerry can on when refuelling via a rattler siphon hose.

Will do. I called last week asking if the alloy bits had been cut. Yep, come pic them up they said. I get there, some are cut, but not other bits. Why does it have to be so hard???

    What width are you after?

    Yep. Can go about 1950.

I accidentally uploaded the full race (shortened). This was supposed to be just one lap showing how easy I lost the rear end. We will work on setting it up one day. This was Race 1, I was still working out what gear to use, and I was not in a rhythm yet.

The start of Race 2. Not good for Adam and Vic.

I think I need at least 50kw's more to even keep close down the straights.

This will be next once I sort the brakes. I don't want to go faster if I can't stop. The guys at the front have it too easy

Another cracker start, you've got those dialled. Good prioritization on the brakes. What type are you considering?

I am surprised I can get it off the line so well given how extreme the clutch is. There is so little between in and fully out. It just bites real hard, but I manage to be able to get a little slip for long enough. The starts at Phillip island where better, I spun the wheels a bit too much this time.
Not sure on brakes, I got onto a guy that had a good set from a VN IPRA car. But he hasn't been back in touch since we first spoke. I have seen XYZ brakes on a few cars, they look like they do the job, but I would rather go with a good brands like AP or Alcon, etc.

Have a look at Essex Racing in the states, they've got some really good information on there although they won't have anything to fit the Commodore. There's some cheap AP 6 pistons jobs on Ebay at the moment.

I had to remove the video as it is in the club rules. Looking on eBay now.

Got these on my FD. Work good and the rotor life had been fantastic. Use them with PMU club racer pads.

I am going to work on the master cylinder first. It would be nice to have a pedal that doesn't just drop to the floor, even in the pits. So bought this from Demon Tweaks.

I am running out of time to get this ready before the next round. I have less than 2 weeks (due to trip to Sema), and Nick is busy.
