Hey chuck, did you end up making the changes to the bike you wanted to when you first got it. It's very tempting and would sit well next to the R6 for some family heritage.

Nah, it's as I bought it. I'm not too stressed if it doesn't sell as it'll go on the wall in the gym

Yeah, I'd sell it. It/they are a pain in the ass to start, the rear guard snapped off and one footpeg is stripped out. They're definately a city bike tho. I think it's due for rego this month

Old mate bought some piece of shit for $4800 which has broken down a couple of times. Keep reminding him he should have bought this, much to the amusement of the rest of the boys in the office...

My SR 400 had a 500 crank & 90mm piston, once you have the knack of starting em they will kick first time.

I sold mine to a 4'5" Thai girl that would not have weighed more than 45kg, she had no issue.

Are these fun to ride or are they pretty much a style thing?

My SR400 (with 500 crank and 91mm piston) was a blast to ride, pulled like a train from nothing to 160km/h................. then it ran out of revs.

    Like a Train. Lol.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."
