Race 3 at 8.10 this morning. Cold track and cold tyres = relatively slow lap times and he got lapped. Still big smiles Hough.

Race 4 done and dusted. Managed to stay in touch with the next slowest kid for 1.5 laps but then two spun in front of him and he spun avoiding them. Still managed to finish. Final up next.

Final done. For no apparent reason circulated 1-1.5 seconds a lap slower. Kids!

Had a great weekend. Will be lots more practice before Christmas.

haha! sounds like you're both having fun.

Back in my day we didn't have clutches so a 1st corner off was the end of your race Pretty miserable watching everyone go past!

I remember self starting when I raced J's, not so bad when you were gridded up the back but difficult not getting in the way mid field.

We were at Newcastle practising for the Rotax Nationals and my son was there driving his J and it started to rain. He loves driving in the rain on slicks and wanted to go out so I told him if he stalled it he started it because I wasn't going out there in the rain. He stalled it doing spins and he learnt to push start it really quick.
