Whats the go with regoing a modified bike like this? Need engineering/etc? Does it have any rego at the moment?

State to state rules will differ of course but I dont even know where to start.

Circumstances mean I will almost definitely not be *allowed* to buy this.... but the want is strong.

No mod plate required. I got an Rwc no issues after I bought it. Technically the pipe wouldn't pass as with any aftermarket silencing system. I can organise a qld Rwc and rego but that probably doesn't help you.

Happy to help with delivery if required. Would like to see it go to someone who will appreciate and not a flat brimmer.

My situation is 6 months ago I was shopping for exactly this (ie. cheap fun streetfighter sorta thing), got snaked on the only good option I came across and havent seen anything since... unfortunately now I have a pregnant nopics and we're trying to buy a house. Also nopics is having a sulk about money stuff at the moment so timing is not ideal. :/

I have a couple brothers who live up your way so I could stash it at their place until I figured out what to do about shipping/road trip/etc. Riding down from Qld would be an epically long ride for me.... but seems pretty tiny compared to your Perth and back ride (is there a thread on that BTW?)

That old chestnut! Have had the same issue in the past. Thankfully no pics rides so was able to 'negotiate'.
Riding down would be great. Could include some of the best roads in the country.
Didn't put up a thread but cliffs were raise money for prostate cancer by riding to Perth. Only thing that went wrong was a couple of small holes in the radiator hence the new one fitted now.

I have been thinking of buying a bike lately. It's been about a fortnight without buying or selling a vehicle. I was looking at cafe racers with no power to keep me out of trouble. This bike could be ridden slowly I suppose...

It's not just a step up from your cruiser. It is a setup to THE cruiser. Don't be silly. You need a 10 second wheelie machine cruiser in your life. Added bonus. It can turn!

Maybe a few subtle mods to get it setup like this.

All I have to say is it’s a fucking good thing I’ve only just seen this advert.
Very professionally, and with no emotion, Walter spoke: “Los Angeles Center, Aspen 20, can you give us a ground speed check?” There was no hesitation, and the replay came as if was an everyday request. “Aspen 20, I show you at one thousand eight hundred and forty-two knots, across the ground.”

Same. Sat on the new 1290 SuperDuke yesterday and convinced myself I need a naked wheelie machine.
