    Toyota really need to start understanding their consumer base. New Camry's should come with computer automated features such as;

    1. Computer controller 10kph under the speed indicated by GPS
    2. Automated parking that doesn't park in the center of a park but parks right on the right line
    3. A feature where the indicators just don't work sometimes
    4. A feature where the indicators just stay on

    These features would really appeal...

I've been hanging out for this info. That said, it actually looks alright.

Not as nicer shape as the old ones though.

Don't forget - radar adaptive cruise control so that it exactly matches the speed of the Camry in the adjacent lane.

Maybe a gas-powered or even pyrotechnic launcher for the items stored on the parcel shelf?
The speeds at which crashes occur are low, due to low travelling speeds, and so things like club-locks stored on the parcel shelf aren't as dangerous as they're intended to be.
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

Yeah that's standard on most CVT's.

To be utterly fair, render or otherwise, that actually isn't a bad looking car.

If it was RWD with some grunt it would be a hit

Weirdly I often find that new Camrys looks OK in the first press photos, but then you see one in the street for the first time and it's white on 14" fleet spec steelies and you realise it's as bland as every Camry before it.

I've got a Subaru Levorg that does this for the day, it's a bit weird, I feel like it kinda makes the whole CVT redundant if it doesn't behave like a CVT anyways...

How about a feature where after 100,000km of well mantained fleet use it automatically finds the nearest indian and amazingly works for the next 280,000km with one set of tyres and zero maintaince

    5. Pre-sagged rear springs.
    6. 600kg towpack, with a 2500kg sticker on it.
    7. Peeling clearcoat.
    8. Oil leaks.

I am with TJ, I actually think they aren't a bad looking car overall once a little lower and some reasonable wheels - if they made them RWD, manual and stuck a turbo on the 3.5 V6 I reckon they would be fucking excellent. Shirley Toyota could see an opening for that in the next few years with Commo's and Falcon's going the way of the dodo - new Supra's etc would still be top of the food chain, 86's a mid level 2 door sportster and Camry range as family cars and fleet or a family sized sports saloon thing.

^ Toyota don't want to sell you a Chaser for $50k, they want to sell you an IS350 for $85k instead.

I had 2 hybrid camrys both the top model 2010 and 2012 model 1st and 2nd gen of the hybrid

very hard to beat as a daily sedan

current models also go really well i averaged 5.6L/100km (lifetime 15,000km mixed urban 35km/h avg, including interstate drives and towing dirtbike) actual not displayed in comparison my Volvo S60 D5 averaged 9L/100km over the same driving

now if they slightly upgraded the battery and made it V6 hybrid id be keen on one
