mild steel and B series is super Tinny, Ti can be made quiet just not cheap for custom shit, a couple of good quality reasonator will set you back well over a grand to start with then you have the rest to put together. Im just in the middle of repairing my Ti zoorst and if I had my time again wouldnt have gone chinese and I would have gone somehing like this shit from Ticon.

sent the junker over to jdmyard to get transmission fixed

is also running on 3 cyl cause I think one of the injectors have gummed up from sitting. will just get it cleaned.

also cause i just realized the fuel in it has been in there since march. but I've put a fresh batch in.

injectors were bit gummy but fine. my mate that swapped the leads put them all in the wrong order and put shit leads. new leads on and thats fixed that.

gonna fix exhaust this weekend and fit new pads. gonna try out some intima type D pads. Anyone have experience with them?

Went to wakefield yesterday. car feels good and the rebuilt box is great.

unfortunately the passengers side driveshaft decided it no longer wanted to be a part of the team. lol

started with a wash for efames

mate took his newly purchased BZR and another mate in his starlet

met this guy in his EM1 and it turns out he was the one who bought my worn out NT01's

that was the carnage that ensued

LoveB can confirm the Intima Type D pads are the real deal for Track days, I put em in my FD2 Civic and used em at the cCreek last week, RDA rotors all round and Type D's I was super impressed, only thing they lack is that real aggressive initial bite a Hawke HDTC or Dixcel offers. But in terms of working I ripped 4 Hot laps in a row and my car weighs 1380kg with me an fuel, only managed a 1.49 but the cars on pump, no splitter and about 80kgs over weight.

I second the type d's for semi serious non pro guys. I've done a few track days on them now in my r33 gtst, 1500kg with fuel and me. They handle 15 min sprints no worries. For the price, fantastic.

Yeah, have to say, the type D was ace. Needed to get em hot but no fade and just kept pulling up.

Yes, they do need heat. First time I used them I thought they where shit until I realised they got better with heat and require a fair amount of pedal effort.

    Could be a good thread.

I’m sure it wouldn’t have snapped driveshafts with a btr or a Barra in it.

Haha ! So what was the story Phil ? Did you buy it from old mate or did he never own it in the first place ?

I was actually semi interested in it when I first saw the thread, figured it might be good for an IPRA car...

When are you taking it out for a run Phil?

If I have the Gayzelle ready I'll bring it along

I was about to tag you at Winton funday on the 20th. You're already "interested" ky (the bloke with the AE86, swifts and mx5s in our club) is coming along with me.

Tried to register for 13th of Jan but been told it has been cancelled due to not enough people entering.

Paul - I swapped him a car haha I actually don't know if he owns this, but I think this one's legit due to some background info I'm aware of.but in any case if it's not I'll break his arm and leg for real and get my money back all good.

I reckon this car would be a good ipra car as well. Solid car.
