Most I've seen at autocheap are 3 inch max. Rocket have 4 inch kns in stock.
Go m80 for sure. And 3.91s are fine on the freeway unless you like to cruise at 140 all day

Started fitting, modding the Mace airbox today. Picked up a 4 inch rod as the Mace only uses 3 inch. Picked up some Ls3 heads

    235 Drag Radials arrived too

Picking up some 15 x 7 rims over the weekend

5364 are "usually" L76 or L98 heads, so don't have the hollow inlet valves like Ls3 do. Casting is fractionally different/thicker than ls3 as well. /anorak

Worth upgrading the valves? Will they flow the same?

After a 1000km round trip, I now have rims for my drag radials. Doesn't look too bad

My experience with drag radials is pretty much start at 20 and come down, I didn't find that traction dropped off, but it started moving around on them first..squirmy

I run 16 but start at 22. With your converter/gears/5ftlbs of LS torque it should hook pretty good. One good skid at the start then they hold heat pretty good during the day. Driving 300km to the track on them also helps get temp up but you need to skid all the road debris off

Those wheels look funny… are they only 6.5" wide

    Heathgoat 16-19psi
    Calder 18-22psi
    Willowbank 20-24 psi

If they are brand new you can get away with them a little higher, but i generally start lower and increase. Nothing worse than spinning tyres off the line

Since when is it $90 to swap 2 tyres onto rims and balance? $450 an hour seems good money for a fuckin tyre joint

Tyre joints get butthurt when they don't supply the rubber. But 20-25 bucks each is the norm...

Since "fuck you, you bought your tyres from somewhere else so we're going to rip you, even though we don't and can't supply the tyres you want"

They usually sting for disposing of the old tyres, balance, valve stems, reach around etc

Fuck knows when extra pricing crap started never heard that before untill tried to get tyres for 15x10 prostars then fuckers said they might get damaged...
an easy fix is get a mate to drive in front of you at 60 then 80 then 100 and mark in on your speedo with some liquid paper.
