OLD issue nsw rego plates WHJ 590

Stolen overnight from my 1999 VS ute. Original issue plates from 1999, "Hunter Holden" frames.
WHJ 590, black on yellow. Stolen from NSW Seven Hills "Music Bowl" area. Majority of streets named after the likes of Chopin, Beethoven,Brahms, Ravel etc.

Plates had survived with the ute since new. If you see them, wearer is def not legit!! Off to the RMS now with my police report no. See if they will re issue in same format.

Turns out a lot of cars lost their plates last night!! RMS at Blacktown had people coming in all morning with this same problem.
    Neighbour lost his as well.
$44 to issue new plates, $8 for tamperproof screws. 6 months wait to re issue original plates (through MY Plates mob)

Do they become personal plates if reissued through MyPlates like up here if you get a normal combo through PPQ? If so, that sucks because then you lose their "original" state
