So, what's the deal with selling privatel? Do you just let them test ride it and hope they come back? I was thinking of asking for their cars rego before they come up? Meeting at local cafe? Road test in a paddock where I can wait at the gate???

No test rides. Want to ride it? Pony up the cash and sign the transfer papers.

Keys, car, wife and large cash deposit. Grab a mug shot of them on your phone too.

Plus make sure insurance is paid up

Test ride pending sale. Let them sit on it and start it, thats it. If they want to ride one they can sign the papers at a dealer and ride theirs. Too easy for someone to drop a bike they've never riden before.

    Wtf?
Just hang on to their license and take a photo of them on the bike. It's insured. I'd want them to ride off and not come back.
